It's not often that you get to see beaches that are totally undeveloped . . . but Hatteras Island has them. There are trucks during the day where visitors drive out and spend time in the ocean, but there are no buildings . . . and as a side note? I wouldn't dare try it without a 4-wheel-drive vehicle with lots of clearance.
